Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, they all have such powerful vocals, and can't be rivalled.

As a singer, I've been able to tackle some Whitney songs but tend to stay away from even attempting Mariah. I call her a vocal gymnast. Thus, I would've switched 1 and 2, but this is a very good list. You can't go wrong with either one.

Celine Dion, unlike the rest of the list, has sung flawlessly in French, Spanish, Japanese. Why is the ability to sing in another language never a criterion? Doesn't it contribute to the difficulty of a song?

Amy Lee should be an honorable mention. Also Floor Jansen (Nightwish) and Sharon den Adel (Within Temptation). The emotion and power needed for their songs is tough.

Mariah’s are the hardest to sing definitely. Great singers can tackle Whitney songs but not really Mariah’s 🖤 now if you think Whitney is a better singer that’s a different argument, strictly songs Mariah’s are too hard

Kate Bush, really? Anyone on the "Honorable Mention" list tops her as far as combining voice with energetic performance, imho. I get why you didn't do operatic voices but you might have mentioned Amy Winehouse, Bonnie Rait & Janis Joplin -- truly unique voices.
Other than that a good pop vocals list.

some of Christina Aguilera's songs are pretty difficult to sing Reflection I Turn To You Beautiful are a few examples. yeah some of Aerosmith's songs are vocally challenging I'm a Boston Native

You should have left Kelly Clarkson off the list and included Lisa Fisher instead. Her voice is so smooth and velvety. And she can give those tender high notes with the best of them! Looking at you Mariah Carey.
