Juri can do it against the entire cast, not just wide characters. She just uses jump short instead of jump forward.

Think Cammy has a version of this, she needs to DR c.hp first to get into her max throw range then follow up with a jump short.

Chun li can't do it with her jump attack but she can do it using 3HK (Falling Crane)

LMAO imagine calling a crossup a shimmy. Also how can it be new if you can do something similar in other games like SFV or any fighting game that isn't an anime. + on block button/string into a cross up is not a shimmy, it's a throw bait. Shimmy is specifically walking back and forth to bait a throw.
