It’s honestly amazing how much colgera feels like a final boss, from the entire fight taking place in the skies, colgeras threatening design, and how intense the theme is, and then you realize
This is basically a TUTORIAL boss.

That final “Die, abomination!” hit so hard and I absolutely adore it. Emily did so fantastic at embodying Tulin’s prideful and bold personality.

Bro the voice actor for Tulin nailed it. Literally everything, the volume and intensity of certain parts especially with the “I’m the Ritos pride” and “what the past begun”. I just feel like Tulins personality and confidence/determination shines here. Also the “finish what the past begun” part like come on Revali tribute right here

I actually really like Alex's voice for Colgera here. In comparison to the more bombastic voice of Molgera, Colgera sounds more sluggish and withdrawn even in the fast-paced lyrics, like its own freezing body is slowing its emotion and energy down.

Emily's voice fits Tulin perfectly ofc, and the lyrics are really fun; even barring the references to Molgera and Conqueror Worm, the wordplay and vocabulary fits the song's tempo and style so well

I love Emily's delivery of "Die abomination!" It really gives the feeling of a teenager frustrated at something, even in the case where the thing is a giant monster killing people

Whenever Colgera says “Worm”, I don’t think of an insect, I think of “Wyrm”. Meaning “dragon”. That’s how powerful MOTI’s voice made him feel. It really gives off the idea that Colgera is a force of nature, not to be trifled with. You could imagine him as a Frost Dragon and you wouldn’t have guessed that this song is about a giant bug.

Love the callbacks to Molgera with the Conquerer worm poem, love to see it back but with more hope from the Rito side since Tears of the Kingdom is a more living world, reforging after one cataclysm and *refusing* with all its might to go down to another

I LOVE THE CONTRAST BETWEEN ALEX AND EMILY'S VOICES!

In this dark duet across the wind and air, Colgera's voice powerfully rings as it emotionlessly prognosticates the doom of the two heroes. However, where Colgera's voice is dark and powerful, overcoming at times, Tulin's voice remains hopeful, yet not ignorant or blissful. Tulin understands that this is a monster, an "abomination" who caused pain to his home and people, and soon, that gloom may spread to all of Hyrule. Tulin's voice is bright, symbolizing the future he sees. As the duet grows more and more intense, and the battle progresses, Tulin's voice becomes brighter and Colgera's voice becomes darker and more sluggish. And at the end, the conqueror worm may rest in the tomb he created.

In other words, I ADORE the voice acting! I'd argue that Emily's voice is perhaps the perfect voice for Tulin, the young sage.

...now we wait for a one hour extension.

I love how Colgera is saying stuff like in darkness all you will find is anhiliation and time immemorial and tulin is just insulting it calling it a “muddled bug”

The "sailing the skyward tide" part is just perfect given how both the Rito and the Dragon Roost island theme are present.

I know a lot of people wanted teba to be the wind sage and no doubt he would have been great as one but tulin holds so much pride for his tribe and despite being the youngest of the sages has possibly the largest potential of being on par with their tribes former champion revali. I love how MOTI these lyrics really show tulins pride. Hope you do the sages themes like the champion they are all so freaking good.

I love the line (oh, we are rito, born to fly! Sail the skyward tide! Upon the wind we ride!) And (for home we broke the roaring ice! Climb to the top and dive! 'Till the sun fills the sky!) It's so good.

I love the Callbacks to Molgera the musical, because Colgera is just a Reincarnation of Molgera. Proving that the world will never change

I am going to say something rather controversial: this is the best boss fight in the game.

The climb to the Wind Temple has some of the best set pieces in the game and is dangerous if you aren't prepared. The music is bone chilling, even going so far as to mock your victory at Vah Medoh as you approach the storm. The puzzles in the temple are fun and interesting and the skydiving mechanics are on full display.

And once you complete them, Colgera appears, with a lonesome flute playing against the roaring chaos of the theme. I have seen people fire arrows at the purple section, and as that is a perfectly valid way of fighting this boss, what is arguably the cooler option is DIVING HEAD FIRST INTO THE PURPLE SECTIONS.

This boss fight takes the mechanic of skydiving and weaponizes it. You use Tulin's gusts of wind for mobility. And the music is some of the best in the game. It's the stand of brothers in arms against a hurricane. But you are not alone. For a flock flies behind you, causing you to soar where no human has soared.

What a brilliant fight.

“Oh, we are rito, Born to fly“ is my favorite part.

There's something special about the fact that in the last "now you face the conqueror worm", Tulin's voice is so much louder than Colgera's, like he and Link are really managing to overcome this massive ice monster.
That's really one detail I like out of several, you did one of my favorite game soundtracks so much justice that I might be addicted to this song.

🎶”Oh we are Rito, born to fly! Sail the skyward tide! Upon the winds we ride!”🎶 being sung with the Dragon Roost motif, the original Rito theme, is just PERFECT!
