Career: What is Recreational Therapy?

Rec therapy, or therapeutic recreation is the practice of using recreational or leisurely activities in a healthy, healing way. I discovered this career on my career exploration journey, and once I realized how few people know about it, I thought I'd share!
In this video we address the basis for recreational therapy, what it is and includes, types of activities in rec therapy (and why we focus on types or categories, how it's therapeutic and schooling.
