Director of Football, Simon Wilson on the departure of Louie Barry following confirmation of his loan recall by parent club Aston Villa this January.

Louie’s final game of his second loan spell at the Club will be our New Year’s Day fixture at home to Birmingham City, before the 21-year-old returns to Villa Park for a period of assessment with Unai Emery’s first-team squad.

Hopefully he get's the chance at Villa and Stockport can push on for promotion. I lived in Levenshulme from 2009-11 and worked at Waterstones in Stockport for both Christmas's. Really liked the town.
