In mathematical logic and computer science the symbol |-- ( in LaTeX \vdash ) has taken the name turnstile because of its resemblance to a typical turnstile if viewed from above. It is also referred to as tee and is often read as "yields", "proves", "satisfies" or "entails".

I was mesmerized by this lecture. No clue about its uses but it's interesting for sure and I wouldn't have learned about it otherwise. Thanks so much for the video!

Does the order of the k tuple matter?
Like is (2, 1) and (1, 2) the same partition of 3?

Thank you for your great videos. I love them. And, as often happens with that which you love, it becomes easy to see the small faults. Here's one. The animation that emphasized that partition transpose was like matrix transpose would be better, in my opinion, if it were just text that faded in then out. The extra lines and circles dancing around the screen is distracting (it broke my concentration and I had to rewind), and really added nothing to the clarity of the message. OK, that's it. Once more for emphasis: I love your videos!
