LemonTree Toys LT-01 Lemon Prime Transformation Sequence

Figure Note:
Stop-Motion Transformation of LemonTree Toys LT-01 Lemon Prime. This is my favorite transformation design for this character. But it is a bit smaller than its competitors. About the size of a modern Voyager (otherwise known as an old-school Deluxe). Very nice materials and paint. Interesting base. It has two little magnets on it that capture two little magnets on the bottom of his feet.

Support Note:

Truck to Robot: 0:09
Robot to Truck: 0:59
Speed run to Robot: 1:49
Speed run to Truck: 2:06
2x Run: 2:22
End credits: 2:39

Production Note: On my pre-purchase investigation I watched a reviewer (I forget who) who seemed to think you have to take off the grill (or back) component and I thought “Huh. It’s a bit of a parts-former”. I don’t know what that was all about because you definitely don’t have to take anything off of him to transform him.

Viewing Note:
If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.

Songs: “Pride Before the Fall” and “Run”

"Lemon Prime". Here's hoping for Mangotron and Strawbwave. That being said, it does look pretty cool, and your stop motion is as awesome as ever. Keep it up.

That's so sick. This looks like one of the easiest yet most feel good transformations I've ever seen. Nice work!

In truck mode the grill shins actually should be folded in further into the gaps between the feet and legs rather than sticking up

this was a super slick, smart transformation. Both truck mode and robot mode look great.

Size of a modern voyager, otherwise known as an old school deluxe. Shots fired! And justifiably so!

Some classic Prime transformation tropes here. Too bad about the truck bed, though.

So who do you think lemon tree is? Dx9/unique toys, toyworld, or someone else?

Seeing all these BB movie Optimus figures is making me wish some inspiration from them would go to G1 Optimus designs. The way Lemon Prime's front wheels fold into the legs and how neatly the cab reforms itself are things even amazing Primes like Magic Square's could improve from.

Very nice video as usual thanks for your work.

I'm enjoying the video. Don't you have Black Apple Optimus Prime? I really want to see the transformation video of Black Apple Optimus Prime you made.

Looks like a nice clean transformation, unlike Purple Potato. Still can't get his legs in the right position to fold in all the time.

Every variation of Bumblebee's Optimus is a big, fat middle finger to the Bay films. What's that, you say? There's NO WAY a more G1 look could work? Hold my energon...

100x better than the mess that is MPM-12 which is a complete embarrassment which needs a $60 3rd party upgrade to be passable. *edit* the only nitpicking I can do on it is I dont like the ankle joints visually.

Wow. And why couldn't Takara do this with their Prime? A fairly new third-party company comes in and engineers a way better transformation. Starting to lose faith in them.

Na it's similar to the takara version. I can't help myself being picky. I hope someone knows how to engineer bumblebee movie prime without messing anything up
