Just acquired this exact saw from a OLD friend that passed away... Original bar and chain with case in pristine condition... ONE of the nicest and coolest gifts I've EVER received in my life... Haven't fired it up yet.. Just enjoy looking at it and showing my friends over a cold Bud Light... Im looking forward to MAYBE starting a small collection of vintage saws.. Awesome machine my wife and I just inherited one from her dad it's a Homelite super EZ automatic he can't remember when he bought it but my mother in law says around 68 or 69 sounds awesome like an old Harley Davidson.

I actually sold Scott that saw off of eBay, I ended up finding it at my local Flea Market here in South Central Pa. Real Nice Saw

Great saw have 2 of them. I remove the 3/8's chain and bar and replace with Homelite's smallest chain and 16" bar -- cuts much faster .Also think more oil in the fuel is better for the engine. Also have two-- Super XL great saw but at 70 years old a little to heavy of a saw for me to use. Still use the XL for cutting the bigger trees. Have a farm at Dubuque --= also on YouTube.

I just took mine out of the muffler, on this same saw I have..i only cut on my own farm ..i love these old saws and yes my local shop doesn't have nothing for these not even a chain .I got to cut my own chain for it
