Our doctor said babys usually learn to sit themselves up AFTER learning how to crawl (so more like around 9-12 months) and that we should not let her sit up until she can sit herself up. That's also what I've read online. I'm confused as to what's correct 😬 my daughter CAN sit up if we sit her down but we don't really do it at the moment because of what I've read and what our doctor said 🤔 (she's 7 months old)
