When my dog passed away, almost 2 years ago, my veterinarian used this to make a casting of one of her paws. While I am glad to have this to memorialize her, this is not at all stable, meaning, if it should get bumped too hard, or dropped, the casting could very easily get damaged. I wish there was a way to permanently stabilize this. Is it possible to make a resin or plaster cast of my dog's paw, without disturbing the sand???

I'm a proud, yet sad owner of this wonderful kit. I miss my pup so much. I would recommend putting the size of the picture needed to fit well in the picture frame. It's an odd size and I want it to fit right but there's no where in the product that says what size photo it needs.

My vet lied to me in order to avoid doing the impression while my dog was still alive before putting her to sleep. He said they were out of the kits at 4pm when she was put to sleep, but somehow, magically, she had them early the next morning. I was lied to, because, for whatever reason, the vet didn't want to do the impression in front of me, and instead decided to lie so she could do the print without me present, after my dog was dead. Now, I'm forced to look at a paw print of my dead dog for the rest of my life.
