The Footballer Who Can Play Literally Any Position: Eduardo Camavinga

When you look at some of the best young players specficially at age 20 or younger in the world today, you have names like Jude Bellingham, Pedri, Gavi, Jamal Musiala, Xavi Simmons. And okay we can maybe even throw in Ansu Fati and Rasmus Hojlund to the list.

But what if there was another 20 year old that a lot of you are overlooking – one who – more than any of those guys I mentioned earlier is a more complete footballer who is so diverse he can excel in literally any position, one of the most underrated young wonderkids in the world – and of course I’m talking about no other than Eduardo CAMAVINGAAAA .

Leave a like if you enjoyed, it's the best way to support the channel 🙏 ❤️ Let me know what video you want next!

What I like about his game, is how incredibly calm he is with the ball.

His life story really reminds me of that of Luka Modric so much. Not just because they were both war refugees, had their houses burn down, were temporarily homeless, and were the hope of their families. Despite growing up without much money, they both had good upbringings and were raised in stable households with supportive parents to be polite, humble, and self-confident. They are both flexible in the roles they play on the pitch (although Camavinga’s physique affords him a little more flexibility). They are both the responsible elder child who takes care of younger siblings. They both prioritized buying their family a home with their first earnings. They both seem to be sustainably enjoying their newfound wealth. They both have no problems making and keeping friends. And they both seem to have childhood activities that give them an extra edge in the football pitch. Eduardo Camavinga’s childhood love of judo helps him tackle people, and Luka Modrić’s childhood job of herding goats in the Velebit mountains helps him with positional awareness of all the players on the pitch. And both have a not-so-well-known connection with Brazilians/Portuguese. Eduardo Camavinga was born in Angola where Portuguese is the national language, and his father speaks Portuguese, and he’s often spotted hanging out with Rodrygo, Vini jr, and Eder Militão and he went on a vacation with them to Brazil. Luka Modrić started his professional and international career pairing very well with Eduardo Alves da Silva, and now has jokingly adopted Rodrygo Goes as his son. Maybe he should also adopt the rest of the Portuguese-speaking crew of Vinicius jr, Eder Militão and Camavinga, since there’s only an 18-year age gap between Camavinga and Modrić, which, see, is larger than the age gap between Rodrygo and Rodrygo’s father, lol. Speaking of age gaps, there’s a cute photo from the 2022 champions league final where Eduardo Camavinga is trying to run away from Luka Modrić’s kids trying to throw confetti on him. 😊

Camavinga is great! As a Barca fan I love watching him play and for the past 3 years anyone can see that whenever he plays he is a presence. That Seedorf resemblance is truly uncanny

As a ManCity fan, Camavinga and Rdrygo are the only two players who SCARE me. They were the reasons why Real pulled off instant classic UCL comeback in 2022

Back when we followed summary of ligue 1 matches with my flatmate, we followed Camavinga knowing he would nit stayed long at Rennes. He moved a season earlier than we thought though but what a player.
The problem with ligue 1 is the lack of retention of good players. Since there is a lot of taxations and regulations, investors tend to go to other countries (PSG is the exception). Ligue has produced a lot of great players though and people often forget where thise players come from like Camavinga with Rennes, Eden Hazard with Lille, Benzema with Lyon, Zidane with Cannes, etc

To imagine he recovered the ball against Napoli in the run up to Bellingham goal makes this amazing
