I just found your channel and watched your video about low stomach acid yesterday. It was the first time anyone had accurately described my symptoms. I have been working to fix my low stomach acid and leaky gut for a couple of years now. I have improved tremendously, but I can tell I am not fully healed. I am starting the beef, salt, and water only diet in a couple day (once I wean myself off coffee 😅). I am hoping to finally heal my stomach and gut. I am so thankful that I found your channel!!

That is very interesting about low stomach acid and having a lack of goals, interest, etc. I think we often do not make the connection between physical health and mental/emotional health, even though we understand it when it comes on suddenly through illness. 🧐

Low Stomach Acid effects the whole Mind/Body connection. It's horrible.
Mine was caused by Bulimia unfortunately but despite 23 years recovery from Eating Disorders I am yet to have restoration.
Acupuncture helps a bit- I've tried all herbs and so many therapies it's not funny etc but nothing has cured my condition ... yet. Foods sits in my stomach and I get full quickly and all other allergenic reactions that can cause migraines - toothaches and skin rashes and fatigue and much more. I was diagnosed with LYME DISEASE & CIRS so I'm sure this is holding healing back from its natural course. I wish my system could bounce back. Thanks for a addressing these issues as no one seems to acknowledge it much. Its extremely debilitating. I'm on Disability because essentially I don't get much energy or nutrition from food I eat.

What are your thoughts about trying alternate-day fasting to let digestion rest?

Recey a keto expert recommended 200 grams fat daily for people struggling to fat-adapt (me, at age 60 after starting/stopping keto, lchf, and carnivore over the past 10 years🙄)

When I got up to about 150 grams fat, everything got worse.
Sluggish digestion
Constipation
Sinus gunk
Low mood, poor concentration
Vomited bone broth, which I’d been drinking for years

I tried hcl and bile salts, but they just irritated my stomach. No other improvements.

Would short fasts help the healing?

He I thank I have Hemorrhoids or a swollen Smalls intestines and Constipated. I workout I thank it could be dehydrated should I just drink water?

Hi Sylvia, I want to ask you a question. I am 40 years old. I know I have low stomach acid as I relapse with sibo for 5 years now. I tried different diets. I tried carnivore diet but had to give it up because I have very poor digestion of meat. My stool test showed my digestion of meat is below norm. So I believe it is caused by low stomach acid. So every time I try hcl or digestive bitters, I get burning in my digestive tract. I am thinking it is gastritis. May be my mucosa is worn out. Do you happen to know any supplements that help heal stomach lining so after that I could successfully raise stomach acid?? Or maybe you or anyone else reading can suggest me what to do?? Doctors have no recommendations besides ppi/ acid reducer. Thank you in advance, your help can really change my
