The fact that we're potientally getting Zalama is just epic. Since its not something anyone had expected. And yet, it also makes sense. As we focused on the destroyers for so long that seeing a creator god would just be awesome.

Honestly its new anime material for the Dragonball franchise, so I'd be willing to give it a chance! We can't really judge a series just by the trailer alone without having watched at least one full episode! It could be really good or it may flop! But its WAY to early for people to dunk on it without having watched a single episode yet! Plus, if its good, it might provide good groundwork for Super's eventual return, here's hoping! I'll say this though, the animation in just the trailer alone looks so CLEAN!

DB really is a case where the fandom takes things more seriously than the official creator does. I'm just glad we might finally get some magic and demon world lore since those have been untapped for mainstream DB!

Also Shin finally becoming useful wasn't something anyone seen coming. Might be his chance to truly step up since he's familiar with the magical side of DBverse.

This has to take place after BoG. All the attire is the same as what we saw in that movie, but Shin is de-fused from Kibito, which (depending on the version) occurs at the end of BoG or before the Universe 6 tournament.

It seems like every time it gets closer to being Goten and Trunks and poor Marron’s turn, we suddenly swerve the car. That’s the part that annoys me about this. That and the idea that we apparently want an action show about a bunch of toddlers. It’s definitely not what I would have done.

This could be headed a good direction though. Rogue or ancestral Oracle Fish and demons wanting revenge against Babidi but not knowing quite where to direct it? More adventure and fewer transformations? Technique and fight choreography possibly winning out over the guy with the bigger beam coming out his palms? This could work.

I wholeheartedly agree with you about how Shin deserves some development. As a longtime Kai fan, I had always held out hope that they'd give him more than what he's been reduced to in more recent media. This new series caught me completely off guard, because I never expected them to actually do it. But I eagerly await for new details, and you better believe I'll watch this show when it comes out.😊

Also, I'm going to point out that Kibitoshin was never present at Bulma's party for the Battle of Gods movie (or even the story arc in Super). In fact, the one time he does attend a party on Earth is the special where Tarble comes to find Vegeta. In fact, Bulma and ChiChi are wearing similar clothing to that special.

I can just imagine that ship landing on earth, a tiny little Freiza popping out of it, and demanding the monkeys explain what they did to him (because of course he'd assume the dragon team had something to do with it)

@MasakoX In Xenoverse 2 Elder Guru explains that long ago on possibly on the previous namek there was a large dragon ball that existed on the horizon and that The Namekian Dragon Balls they have today/back then were made from shards of that. :

"They say that long ago a gigantic Dragon Ball existed on the edge of the horizon. Supposedly the Namekian Dragon Balls were made from its fragments." (Grand Elder Guru - Xenoverse 2: Guru's House)

If this is Toriyama helming the project, odds are it *could* be loose with "canon" so it'd be cool to see Beerus and Whis come back to Earth just to see everyone is a kid.
