Grew up in the seats of 9N, NAA, 841, 4200, 5100, 7200, 7700, and a 9600. Call me crazy but I miss it.

I’ve got a 1968 Ford 5000. Had trouble tracing the serial #. Turned out to be a British built model built in late 1968 so it had the upgraded larger engine and horsepower. British built ones had the headlights in the grill and better coverage fenders.

Every time i would vote, It gave me the notion that most of the folks voting were picking the popular vote and had no experience on the tractors. It should say most nostalgic with 9n at number one, because it is far from the best. I loved the tractor info you tell !

More 8N owners more 8N votes.The Jubilee with live PTO and Red Tiger engine is a substantial improvement over the 8N.I would reverse those on the list and put the 9600 in place of the 9000.

Knew the 8N would hit #1. We used to have 2 1952 8Ns side mount distributor (thank the Lord) was running hard with the mower behind it and clutched it and it pushed me through the neighbors fence 😂🤣😅. 2000, 3000, and 4000 were amazing tractors also.

I dig that 960. I've got a '55 860 that I use for everything on my 10 acres. The front seems to push when I'm brush hogging; no front weights kinda explains...
Just got a loader bucket and would love to grab a 960 with the tricycle front end for the mowing duties
