This is a space saver w built in gate and volume boost for solo time!

Mid Boost mode is for the front of the amp just like normal mode. That’s why it seemed to be under a bit of a blanket as you were running into the effects return; Pre Amp mode is the only setting designed for that.

An otherwise excellent video though! I’ve got their Silver Linings and I doubt it’ll ever leave my board.

It scores 10 out of 10 with me. It sets out to do just one thing and do it right. There is just enough flexibility to set it to your rig. None of the extras are useless clutter and noise makers only usable for Shoe gaze and bedroom Sci Fi. Very, very impressive.

I bought my Silver Linings pedal a little over a year ago after hearing your demo of it. I love bluesy, almost-fuzz overdrive tones and it is absolutely perfect for that while having a wide range of gain and EQ options, plus it is well-built and the embossed faceplate is beautiful. I didn't see much discussion of it and saw a lot of clearance prices on it at the end of last year, so it didn't seem to be nearly as popular as I thought it should be, which made me sad.

This new pedal looks awesome! I definitely plan to pick one up once it's available here in the US and I have the extra cash. I'm more of a rock and blues player so imagine it won't unseat the Silver Linings as my favorite drive pedal, but it seems equally versatile and well-built. I love their designs and how they have kept an embossed faceplate with this pedal, and the lightning bolt display for the clipping LED is perhaps the coolest display for a clipping LED I've seen! It makes me wish the Silver Linings had that. :)

Digital John is a killer player, and nice break from Pete's major scales, which are badass btw. This pedal would probably sound best through a 50-100 watt clean (non hi-gain) tube amp. Eh idk.

Only thing that was missed was the pre-tone backed off with the treble dialed back in and vice-versa. High-pre tone with low treble would probs give a really cool treble-booster feel.

Can you guys do an extensive video on the Zoom g6 and the best ways to run this (directly into amp cab powered or non powered, directly into amp input, through effects loop, etc). I purchased this as a budget friendly option to maximize tone capabilities but I am struggling to get good sounds, I dont know if its how I am physically connecting this thing, my lack of understanding how to build up the effects in the device or what. All the videos I see on this are just reviews telling us that its a good value for the budget but there is nothing great out there on how we should be connecting it to amps or cabs. What a great opportunity for a "DIGITAL JOHN" moment!!! Also, great job, I love all of your videos, I find everything that you all do here very informative and you pump out a massive amount of content... keep on Rockin'!!!

I know the engineer that designed the circuit for this pedal. He said that it runs on a potato and a gherkin power plant which is distributed on a circuit board made from a wholemeal rice cake and serviced by an army of nits that keep everything flowing just nicely.

It's all very nice but it sounds like every other hi-gain amp-in-a-box pedal out there but with more knobs/switches! It will have to go a long way to beat my Victory V4 Kraken Preamp pedal...

PS: I've just seen the price: it's a lot of pedal for £239. I wouldn't swap it for my Kraken but if I didn't have the Kraken: that's a different story!

Waiting for my amplifier Deluxe... Hope it will accept some high gain and boost, impossible to test it or see any vid about that
