Thank you for this video! It was extremely helpful. I am a patient (not yours) finishing up my Invisalign treatment. I did about 1 year of active aligners, and have worn my first set of Vivera retainers for just over 3 months full time. I averaged 22 hours per day of wear time throughout the duration of treatment. I wanted to comment on your note about using the first set of Vivera retainers for about 3 months, then moving on to the next set. This is something I will check on with my provider. I received 4 sets, and they all fit slightly differently. The tops are all snug, which is great but the bottoms on two of the sets seem less snug. I was told they fit my teeth properly, so I guess that means there's some slight allowance within the manufacturing process. I have no problem moving to another set of retainers now (or potentially rotating a few) even though many people say one set of Vivera should last a year or two, since I wore them full-time. I am aware retainers are an ongoing cost and I'm fine with that. I do not want to do anything to have my teeth shift again after being so dedicated for 15 months.
