There's also the smooth tool(z) that you'd want to use after using the pen tool. To edit the line you drew with the pen you can just draw over it again

Use the selection tool to select the text> hit cmd/ctrl shift + o > then switch to the pencil tool to modify the text?

Please correct me if I’m wrong? I’m a beginner.
