Fun fact: when Palaeocastor fossilized tunnel was first discovered, it was called Devil's corkscrew because people thought it was the Devil trying to escape from hell through this tunnel.

Your channel is so interesting and nice. I'm near a war zone right now and it's incredibly stressful, as well as the entire year. So getting distracted by your calm and captivating videos is a great escape

I love this stuff, especially the pronunciation parts. Dinosaur names were among the first multi-syllable words I learned and used as a kid.

I would've loved a book like this as a kid. I'd love this book now.
Random thought, but I kind of wonder what some prehistoric animals would like if they'd been domesticated, like how different a Deinonychus would look after a century or two of selective breeding.

I love the fact that Ben was playing with the book and a Velociraptor model. That was so funny I had to laugh out loud. It definitely put a smile on my face and brightened my day.

Books like this are really fun to read as I have read one similar back when I was a kid too. And for some reason as a kid, you won’t get tired of reading the same book over and over again.

My dog definitely thinks she’s still a wolf. She once tried to attack a white tailed deer in the middle of the road. Shes ten pounds.

This video is a home run. I loved the new format. This is a fantastic idea for gift. Now that my friends are having children, I would love to think that I could possibly generate a new found interest in science by gifting this book.
Anyways, you and Doug are talented presenters and make a great team, Cheers.

As Argentinian Im glad Josepho Artigasias gets any recognition. He was named after the founding father of Uruguayan (Jose Artigas).

This is a really nice looking book overall, judging by this video. Teaching kids about paleontology in a greater way than just "look, dinosaurs" is a great thing to be aiming for. One point of criticism I have (before having read the book myself) is that the velociraptor's head looks shrink-wrapped; you can clearly see an indentation that is also present in the skull, and is common in a lot of older paleo-art. Other than that, the art looks really great; it's a very pleasing aesthetic.

Kudos on an excellent review! You have done such a good job here. I hope that anyone with youngsters in his life: his own, nieces and nephews, or the children of friends; will purchase this book for them. It is clearly a great source of material on pets, paleontology and evolution. Once again, well done!
