Saw this Austin City Limits show and this guy was on it I was completely mesmerized could not stop watching of course the next day went out and got my hands on everything and anything he has done not a bad song in the bunch what a talent so needed this in my life my happy place.

This was filmed the day after Election Day in downtown Austin, where there was a lot of despair over the results. My fiancé and I were able to attend the taping. Just outside, massive protests were happening and there was a lot of emotion in the air. He began his set by saying "This is a song about the end of the world" and launched straight into this song. It was funny and cathartic-- just what the audience needed. A young person with a grim, uncertain kind of hope and a song that reminded us that we can't control everything.
