Fortresses dont generate mobs until youre close close to them so Entity counter doesnt work for them however bastions doesnt spawn mobs periodically but they have preset mobs wich dont need the player to be nearby so you can find bastions far away with e counter but u cant find fortresses that way

Im gonna actually use this lol. I have a base and somehow i cant find all the pockets of caves where mobs spawn. I also have a creeper/spider farm
