I Would Get The BMW M850i Over The M8!

It all depends. I own the m850i and I thought about the M8, But have to drive in both the M850i is a better daily driver. It's more comfortable. Yes, I'm down about 75 horsepower from the m8 but I don't really miss it. It is still a scorcher and it is still a looker. 0 to 60 numbers quoted are conservative. I know myself that I've gotten it to 3.3 in the m850i and I've seen people who come below 3 seconds and make them page so it's all relative. So for me, my decision was the M850i.

I own a M8 Competition and fellas in my opinion I would get the M8 cuz the ability to switch form awd to rwd. And the looks more aggressive. The engine is more responsive the S63 is more turned right compared to the N63.

I’ll take the real M car. Owned an m340 and m3. Now I own and m5. m lites are good cars and Great value when comparing to similar cars in their class. But M cars are on a different level and it’s evident if you’ve driven both

M850i is enough for 95% of drivers, the other 5% are obsessed with flexing, the 'it's gotta be an M car' gang.

They are technically the same car but the m850i is just a detuned m8

If I had enough money for the 850i I’d get the M8. Mainly just for the way it looks. I know it’s subtle but it’s just so much more aggressive

We tested both cars! For the drive experience on the German Autobahn, there is not much to miss from the M8 Competition. I sure will also save some money and go for the M850i

I almost got the m8 competition....I do love that car but I ended up choosing an Aston DB9.2., but that m8 is still 🔥

Went to dealer recently, saw both. IMO the front bumper/spoiler of the 2023 M850i looks better than the M8
