Sometimes I’m afraid that these kinds of videos will be too high-level and not tactical enough. But I wanted to give some insight into real conversations I’m having with brands right now in April 2024. The solution isn’t always as easy as “test this creative” or “try this account structure”.

If you’re having big problems with your performance on Facebook Ads today, your focus should not be on the button pushing inside of Ads Manager.

It should be about if you’re actually well positioned to succeed on this platform in 2024. Many brands are not.

One of the best videos in years, this video is a testament that most of the time, the problem with your ads..probably has nothing to do with your ads and no amount of testing will turn this around. You must ensure that anything that could be a potential bottleneck is dialed in:

-Market awareness stage
-Sophistication level
-Positioning
-Offer
-marketing angles
-CRO & Landing pages
-much

After Feb 14 ads went down the rabbit hole. Mostly because as every year at the end of Q1 Meta releases updates and this mess with the algo. They should get to normal soon. The problem is that the new normal is not the great normal as it used to be.

Finally someone who talks about meta problems at the moment, this is more oriented to brands all ready exist, imagine who try to get in the market, so disappointed at this stage

My facebook ads work incredibly well at $100 a day. But if I start the campaign at $200 a day, it does like 5x worse. Maddening.

Switching from Facebook Ads to cold emailing was the best move I made. DoYouMail has been my top choice for four months. Unlimited sending from unlimited domains and dedicated IPs take the hassle out of email campaigns. The automatic DNS configuration is a lifesaver. It is cost-effective and reliable, definitely worth exploring.

Glad to see public faces mentioning this, but I have to say the content of the video isn’t really actionable, a bit disappointing. It may be insightful, inspirational.. but in reality we already do all these things daily as founders on smaller brands. Meta may be fixed tomorrow, or next year, we need to switch tactics, not someone who tell us to switch tactics :/
I was expecting more insight on alternate strategies like some tactics via physical mail campaign, email marketing tactics, partnerships with brands, affiliates, referral, brand ambassadors.. we all know we need to rethink our strategy, but we could use a little help on some out of the box strategies that have worked for others. As someone who work with multiple companies, you must have seen various tactics.
I really don’t mean this in a bad way, just sharing what I was expecting from this video title

it's not the platform, or the AI. it's competition. Meta has reached its maturity/ saturation stage. Sellers have to be very good to win, meaning their business need to be solid BEFORE they come to Meta. Meta is an amplifying tool. if your product is targeting an untapped market, you get amazing result. If you are one of many, you are out of luck
