It’s crazy how you hear everyone keep talking about the struggles of the offense and quick to try to pin it on the O-line or the WRs. It’s like they desperately want that to be the case so they can feed their “Fields doesn’t have weapons” narrative. But if they’d paid attention to actual football they’d know the offensive struggles stem from how dam good our Defense is. Gordon and Brisker were great picks. They both have transitioned so fast that they don’t feel like rookies. Just listen to E Jack. He says they’re ready to go and that’s why. You can see it in his face. Normally someone coming off a season like last year wouldn’t be smiling. They’d have that Mack look. Mack didn’t smile bc he felt pressured and the team didn’t give him the confidence to put him at ease. Now watch him with the chargers, he smiled more times in one interview than the entire time with the bears. That’s the Bosa and less pressure effect. So when you see Justin Fields making plays with Mooney and Kmet just know that they’re ballin bc they’re doing it against a really good defense that’s one corner and maybe a LB away from being completely dominate.
