Back in 2003 my friend was at the same training facility and the same thing happened to him major shoulder injury . Got attorney sued . They road his butt right out of the program after that . RIP to this young mans family n friends .

The guns are too powerful, the drugs have gotten stronger and stronger every year, and the police training is too aggressive. It’s one thing to be killed on the job by a real mob that forms randomly. Did they really expect adding additional injuries to the new recruits would somehow prepare them for a real mob? What an easy way to excuse on the job harassment or worse too!

This reminds me that the Sheriff department in East LA has been plagued with "deputy gangs" for half a century. They behave like regular gangs. They're called "Banditos" and they pull similar crap like this. Hazing newbie officers to allow them full membership.

That has been widely reported. Despite the denials from Alex Villanueva, the L.A. County sheriff.
