Mike Skeen: 1:37 at VIR Full Course with LS-swapped LMP3!

Check out my current personal fastest laps ever around the Full Course at VIR in this Ligier P315 with Katech LSx engine package. This is rated at 605 hp vs the original Nissan VQ50 at 420 hp. It is also about 45 lbs lighter. It has a slightly uprated gearbox to handle the power, but is completely stock as far as aero.

Amazing speed! You can see how much downforce plays a role at VIR from a normal street car. Flat out through the S curves?!?!?! Insane!!!

It makes you wonder why the LMP2 class still exists. Maybe John Doonan will see this video and put into motion a financially practical second tier prototype class tech spec that performs as well as the Gibson powered Oreca!
