Nice video as always but I would not agree with the TAA affirmation at all: the guy offers more attacking threat in 70 mins than most of the defenders and playing less is actually a bonus since you have more chances of a clean sheet since nowadays the match is 95-100 mins long with a lot of goals in stoppage time. Basically: same attacking threat and higher chance of CS

I think I’ll keep Saka this week and see how Salah does. After all he got 28 returns last season and 26 the one before. He’s already on 3 from 3.

With Haaland as captain anyway, Isak at Wolves plus Saka could very easily outscore Salah plus Joao Pedro. Salah played 90 mins an 75 mins for Egypt and Pedro may not get 90 mins.

Great video Fran!! Do you think that with Ake injured, Lewis starting in the next GWs is very much possible?

I disagree on the Salah vs. Haaland discussion. I think Haaland is essential, and I will probably captain him vs. Arsenal.
Haaland has just looked ridiculously good so far. Form of his life. Salah has been more his normal self, but with excellent payoff on his chances (6 from 2.7 xGI). Both are always overperforming their xGI, but the difference between xGI and returns is much greater for Salah than Haaland so far this season.
In addition, Arsenal just lost two of their most important players when it comes to locking down the midfield. I think Haaland has a return or two in him vs. Arsenal.

Very nice content, as always 🙂

Diaz and Jota to cover Salah? Allows me to have Palmer Haaland Watkins TAA and Raya as premiums. Or should I drop Diaz Jota for Salah in the future?

Very helpful video as always. Do you think Robinson is still a good pick for defense? I know he’s been getting returns but I don’t know if I should put in dunk this week for the fixtures

Salah fixtures bar Arsenal GW9 look good from an attacking perspective up until about GW13 (city) it feels like a tough decision to drop him for Saka GW6, I think I’d be more inclined to try work Salah, Saka and Haaland.

Hi Fran, content is awesome as always, podcast with Raptor was really interesting too. One quick piece of advice, would you do Saka to Palmer this week for free? Thanks 👍

Hey FPL Fran. Who would you chose as a 5mil midfielder? I only have funds for a 5.0 Midfielder. Thomas Partez, Traoré, Enzo, Soucek? What do you think? I didn‘t watch Thomas Partey play, is he attacking?

BTW. I‘m on a wildcard guys

Currently own Son. Would u sell him for Salah although he’s a good captaincy option in GW5, if let’s say Solanke is still out injured?

Hi fran I've got a bit of a transfer headache. my attackers are saka, smith rowe, rogers, nkunku, jota, joao pedro, haaland, woood. I have 2ft, should i do saka to salah and wood to welbeck, or nkunku to eze and get salah in next gw?

Maatsen came on as RB. With Matty Cash injured, Digne could be a good punt...

If confirmed injured… Konsa to Dunk (-4) or play Harwood-bellis/Hall?

Salah and halaand are LONG term picks… why would you want to transfer them out? Even for their hard fixtures, they are the best players in the league! I have Palmer as my premium mid who will help me get saka, foden, kdb etc

Idk if I should take a punt on Phil Foden this week or not. Pep said he's fine to come back for the Brentford game and they're at home to Arsenal next week so I feel like Arsenal will be a bit more on the back foot in that game especially since they're gonna be without Odegaard so City can definitely boss that midfield, I just don't know if Foden will be a starter quite yet or slowly make his way back into the starting 11.

Idk why but i feel son will get a haul though considering arsenal absence in midfield and also left back
