I strongly recommend anybody in the comment section check out IMMORTAL (2008) by Pyramaze. The guitars are a bit heavier than what you hear on this brief demo. I don't wanna ruin in for any of you it's a masterpiece.

Up untill a few years I'd never even heard of the term AOR untill I bought an Issue of Classic Rock Magazine AOR with a free AOR sample CD in it and thought "What the heck is AOR rock?"On that CD were two bands that got me rocking-Houston and Grand Illusion.Funny but Classic Rock only published a few more AOR issues after that.I grew up listening to Def Leppard and Poison etc in the eighties and got into Journey in the early nineties(I'm 48 years old.) I now know Journey are an AOR band DOH!My favourite on your list is House Of Lords but my favourite AOR band is Harem Scarem from Canada. Ive seen H.E.A.T at the now defunct Firefest Festival Nottingham, England and they rockef..I got into most AOR bands after that by browsing You Tube.

When Thundermother came, I just stopped watchin coz probably there ain't one AOR band here. Try listen to Harlan Cage, Steelhouse Lane, Prayer, Mecca, Last Autumn's Dream, Sunstorm, Fortune, Van Zant, Honeymoon Suite... That's AOR.
