Why are these three making Coach Staley and Boston victims? Staley is the CotY and Boston is the Defensive PotY! Iowa does not get the coverage that SC gets nationwide. It’s not a black vs. white issue. Caitlin is a transcendent player! Higher water raises all boats. These three seem determined to sink the ship by saying Clark has not 100% earned her coverage. Ridiculous!!!!

Listen, Chris! I agree with you Boston needs more coverage, hands down. Could you try not to dismiss another female player by calling Clark's stats gaudy? Do you think Clark's stats are tasteless? Really? Dang! Why can't men speak to the fact that all these women are QUEENS! Stop tearing down a female's accomplishments to make another female look good. Boston is amazing without you tearing down Clark.

Let’s just say that Caitlin Clark already has historically good scoring and assisting stats. If she avoids injury, she will probably finish her four seasons with >3500 points and >1000 assists, a combination no other player has come close to achieving. In three seasons, she has been named player of the year once, point guard of the year twice, and guard of the year three times. So yes, a case can be made that Clark is the best ever women’s college basketball player.

Did Steph Curry and Magic Johnson tweet about Aliyah Boston? Was that their unconscious bias showing?

The woman said she is from Mississippi and doesn't know anything about Ole Miss...that sounds like a you problem more than anything. I mean, did you know anything on a country or world wide forum about Creighton which was a majority white school when they made their NCAA run last year? No. Why would you know anything about Ole Miss in a country wide/global platform? They just aren't highly covered schools. Trying to make it a race issue when it's a whose who issue is hilarious.

In the same breath talking about coverage and wanting to help the women's game grow but do nothing but try to tear down certain players for several years now (Paige, Clark) who are bringing new eyes and never before seen numbers of viewers to the women's game because you don't like that they are white instead of black. So the message is "We want the women's game to grow but not if white players are bringing the attention, then we don't really want it and it's bad" and it's just.... 🤨

On the same breath you said "SC being undefeated should be covered to a nauseam because we don't see that" and then said that Uconn has done that multiple times. Yes, they have including 2008-09, 2009-10, 2013-14, 2015-16 so it's not like it's been more than a decade even since we've seen undefeated teams, meanwhile Caitlin Clark literally did something NEVER DONE BEFORE BY MAN OR WOMAN in the NCAA tournament this year with a 40 point triple double but she shouldn't be the talk of the town...

The reality is, a casual is going to gravitate more towards Caitlin Clark highlights over Aaliyah Boston highlights and that has nothing to do with their skin color.

Shouldn't we be focusing more on the fact that the woman's game is finally getting the publicity is deserves? Both of these players (and the rest of their teammates) are what is helping drive the coverage to the woman's game. Look at tomorrow's game, it might be the most watched NCAA game of all time (men's or woman's). That in itself should be the story here. Both of the players are going to have amazing WNBA careers.

An even greater topic is that because of NIL deals, players are more willing to play all four years because that money is FAR more than what they can make in the WNBA.

Caitlin Clark is different. Aliyah is a great player but CC is another level in terms of production and and her style hasn't been seen before in the Women's game. It's not a racial thing. SC has many good players and would be top 4 team without her. It's stupid to make it out as a conspiracy. Racism exists but this is ain't it

Glad Caitlin dropped a 40 piece on Dawn Staley head lol. Ain't seen nothing but coverage on South Carolina and I barely watch women's basketball. Clark the truth, and she showed last night

Unfortunately Chris is wrong. Boston isn't more impactful than Clark is for their respective teams. If Boston were to get hurt, SC would still win most all of their matchups because of how deep their bench is with tall athletic rebounders. The drop off wouldn't be drastic. If Clark wasn't available, Iowa would be a mediocre team. Society is enamored by stats...especially offensive stats...that goes for all sports. I contend that if Clark were black, and was playing the way she is, she would still be getting the attention and coverage. Siegrist is white and is the nation's scoring leader but doesn't get the coverage that Clark does. Neither does Brink or Van Lith. Haley got some exposure because of a short exchange in the handshake line and because they made it to the elite 8 but ppl know she isn't on the level that Clark is. Women's college b-ball was beating out the NBA in ratings this last week...yes, it's tourney time compared to just a regular game for the pro men, but still, that's pretty good. Clark has driven interest in NCAAW this year more so than previous years, so you'd think that would be good for women's sports right? Of course the answer is yes, but now you have these three complaining that the new eyeballs following this year's March madness is somehow a negative because it's being driven by a very good player from Iowa...who happens to be white. Firstly, who cares what her skin color is and secondly, It's bringing interest to WOMEN'S bball...so who should really care now about skin tone? It's a win for the entire sport right? Apparently not...now I guess it's just a disproportionate unjust detraction. I'm all for inclusion, equality, and fair opportunity in all things, but ppl are going to watch, write, and talk about what interests them for whatever their reasons. You can't really expect to force enthusiasm to be funneled to the person you would be more comfortable with. If Clark's stats were nothing special in the grand scope of other upper tier women, then I'd say they have a valid discussion here, but when you're the first person to score 30 pts in three straight tournament games, just popped a 40pt triple double and are the sole reason your team in in the final four for this first time in their school's history...yeah your going to get some media hype. Most viewers and analysts still have SC winning it all though...as do I, but if Iowa upsets...oof, I get the feeling the media coverage is really gonna grind this panels gears.

Clark deserves the attention she is getting and all players benefit from it. Staley needs to quit her whining!

At this point, Staleys' narcissistic vibe is too much! She seems to always want the spotlight.

Why cause hate and anger with your prejudices? We should work together to build the game; all this negativity does not help.

Tim Duncan didn't get as much attention as Kobe. It's more of an entertainment issue.

As each day passes, the reason Clark is getting the attention is becomes more apparent.
