first half almost sounds like it could be cool level up and/or stage finish music from some cool 2000s PS2 RPG? rather specific thought but that's genuinely what I felt.

actually no this does straight up remind me of SMT Nocturne music. very nice

Here's where the game starts getting crazy, with the alternate timelines, future/past jumping, etc... I think this theme really symbolises that, especially 0:57.
