Trivial correction @ 10:00, I think Idempotent operators are operators where applying them twice is the same as applying them once (i.e. ∂∘∂ = ∂). E.g. Projections would be an Idempotent operator but boundary maps wouldn't be I believe since ∂∘∂ = 0 for chain complexes.
