Back in 2001, while on work assignment in Virginia, I had the opportunity to drive the tunnel. I didn’t take it. If I had, I’d still be sitting in traffic.

Every road that has been widened to accommodate traffic has seen an increase in traffic to accommodate the widening of the road. It's a vicious cycle that will never end unless we stop building roads and people actually learn how to drive.

Based upon all the bobtails I see in this video, I'm glad to see that in the future the trailer portion of tractor-trailers has been eliminated. That will save space on the highway.

Like anywhere else this will make a BIG difference, instead of a 4 lane traffic jamb, there will be an 8 lane traffic jamb. Oh by the way, more toll money from those sitting in traffic.
