That twin-turbo V8 is just biblical. The Sauber C9 may get all the attention, but seeing this C11 up close and personal at the Spa Classic was unforgettable. What a noise it made flying up Eau Rouge and Raidillon.

One of the thing I haven’t seen is the variety. Idk if it still exists as I haven’t been to a race since ‘98-99(?). But the prototypes were so fun to watch due to the variety of sounds and the cars all looking different. Miss that. 😊

I don’t know why FIA make up rules so competitors end up designing ugly cars. Group C was one of the GOAT classes, cars like this C11 were the most beautiful prototypes ever designed and their beauty was functional and brutally efficient and fast. This is what spectators like to see, I thought this was the whole point, nobody wants to see ugly cars.
