I keep hoping we’ll be able to download content for offline viewing (as we can on our iPhones and iPads). We use our Apple TV in our camper, and there are plenty of times when this would be amazingly helpful.

All those seem like great features, but they still do not allow me to set a passcode on my user account. It's really so frustrating how one is enabled to switch to a different user account with no verification. its would be even more fun if one user sets the Apple TV to his/her preference (like the arrangement of apps) and once they switch to their account .. boom no need to go back to settings to turn off parental control each time you want to watch tv just because the kids were watching it earlier and please pleaseeee....let them allow us to set parental restrictions on a single account .! You already have this in place on other devices, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t also have it here!

They should let you delete default apps or hide them(library like iOS). That’s a feature a lot of people like to see. So you can make you screen look more clean.

What’s missing to get the full high res lossless audio from apple music using the apple TV, is it a hardware or software issue? At the moment, I have to connect an iPad to a DAC using USB-C to get the highest quality. Would be simpler to use the apple TV box connected to my receiver with the HDMI cable.

After updating to TV OS 18, I'm experiencing issues with youtube app as when I pause a video it starts playing back after screensaver appears.
Also whenever I play a new video it starts in the middle of timeframe.

I don’t understand why Apple doesn’t enable quads Homepod Dolby Atmos. Two speakers aren’t enough to virtualize the Atmos audio. We need more detailed surround with multiple Homepods like the Sony Bravia Quad or HTa9

Apple broke the screensaver. I use home sharing to select a folder on my Mac that i put photos into. All good, but Apple took away the ability to set the photo display time. Currently, the photos switch every 5 seconds with no way to change it. WTF. How hard can it be leave well enough alone.
