Great review, it's good that you included it with test footage. The color white does seem to be a bad choice from a design point of view. I'm using the Big-U-Shot from Xsories which is black and is still pretty thin but the sliding mechanics have failed on me because there's some sand stuck in it (even though i always cleaned it after use).

Did a trip to Paris a couple days ago and these selfie-sticks are immensly popular among land-walkers :D.

I hope they make it in black. The light reflecting off of the white pole makes it shine and stick out like a sore thumb. I find my eyes wandering from the awesome scenery to the shining white pole...

Great video ... does the pole float in case you lose it in the water? Was thinking of getting the GoPro Evo, but the after watching your video, the GoPro Reach seems to be better.

Under camera you have to mount cross-wing. That way with a wind you may live your camera standing when you place it on a floor (bottom/ table). Other vise your pole with camera flipped on a side

Hi. Thanks for the great review! ... You mention that it switches effortlessly from 3rd person to 1st person view ... How? How do you switch views? Does it simply swivel, or do you need to unscrew the camera and remount it? Thanks in advance for your help!

I find that the reach is very problematic when trying to shorten it to the original length of 14 inches. The segments dont seem to lock when they are all telescoped into each other. Instead, I have to overlap each segment by an inch or so to allow them to lock.

I need help. i went diving about a month ago and after each dive always rinsed the pole with fresh water, some times even submerged it in a tank of fresh water for a few hours to make sure all the salt was properly removed. and so we came back home and yesterday I was going to use it and i was stuck, the ending part of the pole right where you attach the camera its not comming out. do you know if there's a way to clean it or lubricate it so it can move? thanks
