HTML for beginners 39: checkbox input type | CHECKBOX

Hi there and welcome! 😊 In this video, we will explain to you what is checkbox input element.

checkbox input element is type of HTML input element that we use to create checkboxes. Checkboxes are type of HTML elements that allow us to select one or more options from list of available options that we have.

checkbox can be easily created, we just need to set type value checkbox, for standard input element and set name attribute for available options.
➡️ type="checkbox" name="option1"

Optionally for checkboxes we can use checked HTML attribute to define which checkbox will be initially selected.
➡️ checked
