As someone who’s just got a 308 (a week ago) I highly recommend them as a great all round car. Lots of space, very comfy and excellent value for the money! And even more fun if you get the GTI!

Why haven't Peugeot given this 308 gt line the same infotainment & digital dash out of the 3008 would have made this car so much better.

Peugeots are made in a way that encourages if not downright forces you to set your seat up high if you want to have the best driving position (having the seat high, also protects you more in the case of a side impact + you have better visibility), and once you get used to it you can see the benefits.

There are many people that are used to a low seat position and think that it lowers the center of gravity enough to improve driving characteristics, that might have been true when cars weighted under 900 kg, and didn't have very advanced suspension but now I would say the effect is negligible and It's worth more to have better visibility.

As someone who owned a Peugeot I can say I miss the high seating position I could set in the Peugeot without being uncomfortable

Found this a bit impromptu when it came to some of the interior info. Got it completely wrong by saying it was a decent size glovebox when you cant actually fit the car's manual in there.

Touching distance in terms of materials quality but miles nicer and cooler than any VAG or Ford car.

The chassis PSA in a vauxhall will be very good. Imagine a new vauxhall astra GTI with PSA chassis !

The basic model shines in the moose test with Porsche like speed at 82 km/h! Best chassis always in PUGs!

Peugeot have never had nice gear selection a bit more agricultural but are actually pretty robust. So it’s definitely forgivable.

I own a 2019 Peugeot 308 Tech Edition and have owned other Peugeots previously. I love my car apart from one niggle I would prefer to have the Cruise / Speed limiter on a stalk similar to a golf or maybe a third stalk and not hidden away on what is already a low steering wheel set-up. Also the fuel consumption in poor at town speeds.

That screen might be 9.5", but usable screen appears to be 6" with the rest border and control icons.
