I remember long drives back to the reservation with my dad and he would listen to this front to back. And of course me as a little teen I would put my headphones on and listen to my music. But I do remember those beautiful late evenings driving from Phoenix to the Navajo Nation and I remember my dad and his smile and how happy this music would make him. Now that he is gone, I smile because I know I can find him here in this music...

Im navajo from crown point new mexico. My cheii just so happens to be a medicine man and this is ALL i would listen to with my dad and him, not like i really had a choice cruising around with them but i never once said change it or anything, it calms me down as i have severe add, adhd and tourette syndrome. NEVER, have i ever sat completely still and silent other than when i listen to peyote music. It calms me down more than anything can explain and my dad knows it. I have outbursts and always have to keep moving my body, its like im in a rush for something when im not, just how my mind and body feels, but soon as i listen to this music, im completely calm and those bad thoughts disappear.

I know it's been since 2017 that you uploaded this, but you think it might be time for a refresh with a file without all the pops and clicks from the CD not being clean when it was encoded from? Sure would make the listening experience much more awe inspiring. I can just imagine these fellas sitting in a darkened room with candles and singing their life into this music. Thanks anyway. One day I'm gonna share my grandpa's medicine. It's good. I remember that he and his brother who is still alive could pass songs. I don't know all of my grandpa's. One of them put decided to kill himself. He was never welcomed home from vietnam. That's why he decided to end himself. If you see a vet welcome him home. It doesn't feel like home. I jam this with my son's. They don't know there culture. I know very little even though my grandpa is a medicine man. I'm sure I won't find a traditional woman that I can fall in love with. I've tried and had another set of children with the wrong woman. I'm glad the creators see me as a father. I won't die alone. I'm raising great kids. Thank you creator. I'm sorry. I wish I could do better. I won't ever stop trying.
