Roots of pacha and the potion one look so cute!!! I really like that roots of pacha is set in a different time period 💗 it makes it a refreshing take on the farming sim!

Enjoying Roots of Pacha more than I thought I would! The gameplay loop is nice and I've been having a great time! Potion Permit is the next on my list. I played a little of it, but did not have much time to dedicate to playing it. I plan on experiencing more of it later tomorrow, but the intro was intriguing!

I played potion permit for almost 6h and still didn't do everything that would have been possible in the demo - I'm super excited for it to come out! Hopefully they do something about the controls though..
One thing that I think you may like to check out is spirttea! I like the concept a lot, I think it will take quite a bit of time to get the quality up to be able to release it, but the base idea is super cute (managing an onsen for spirits so they don't bother the villagers)

I found new games with this video.
Most of these games I knew of, but I had no idea they had demos.
I backed kickstarters, I wishlisted, but demos?
Goodness I forgot to even check up on those games. Gonna try out the demos now.
Thank you so much for this video.

Diving Dave! It’s not a farming sim, but a fishing and sushi restaurant sim I enjoyed very much during this Steam Fest :)

Been watching your videos for awhile now and knowing what you like, I can confidently say that you would like Wylde Flowers. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite it being a mobile game, it definitely feels fully fleshed out and is reminiscent of Stardew, but with witches. I think you'll love it. Note: I played it on my MacBook with a 8bitdo SNES controller.

Thanks for sharing these! Is there a farm sim like PoT but without the daily time limit? I find myself less than relaxed as I struggle to get anything done in what now seems like a 10 minute day.

Playing Wylde Flowers. Liking it so far because you can choose the pace of the day. I did slow.

Roots and Pacha and Potion Craft was definitely the highlights for me! I actually really enjoyed Wylde Flowers, but it really doesn't seem like your style of game. I am a huge story driven game fan so this fit me very well but the farm sim elements are very easy, light and minimal. The focus is more on Tara and her story in the town and becoming a witch...it was almost as though they threw in some farming game elements just to break up the story here and there. However, for me, there were enough farming game elements but if someone is looking for a more traditional style of farm sim, this is definitely not for them.

Thank you so much for this video! I definitely want to try some of these games!
I have a question.. I'm currently working on a game with my studio, and I'd really love for you to check it out! I'm sure you would enjoy it
Would it be okay to tell you more and how do I go about doing this?

I played Terra Nil before Next fest started so would count on the badge. I did enjoy it as has Grow: Song of Evertree vibe restoring nature. So far I have played Potion Permit and Wondering Wylde flowers the characters have disproportionate arms. I'm not normally into pixelart game after bad experience with Monster Harvest but Potion permit is worth a look the game has some faults like unable sell until 7th day, intro is very long, if you get to diagnose systems is another mini game press button to match sequence. I was using controller and wasn't sure how to pet and feed the dog until I pressed all of back buttons, the second button below RB activated whistle. There is friendship decay, level drops is you miss a day overall I did enjoy and will play as far as demo ago. I wasn't sure about Roots of Pacha but give it go as looks interesting. Another game I did enjoy is Cult of Lamb not really farming sim more of roguelike but has farming elements and manage a cult. I only played a bit of Wyld Flowers but will return as has interesting storyline. Spoilt for choice with Next fest going on.

Wilde Flowers is an excellent game on mobile

I think the Next Fest has extremely bad timing. The new FE demo just came out, events on my mobile games are lining up, and a new update just came out on one of the PC farming games I'm playing (Immortal Life). I'm feeling pretty busy and it's pretty easy to overlook games that are still under development.

Thanks for the summary though, makes the list significantly easier to sift through.

If only I had a decent PC... in my late 30's and STILL haven't had a good enough PC for gaming. Oh well... maybe in my 40's or 50's lol

I already tried and love Roots of Pacha. I'm worried that potion permit would be too sad. I want to help people but empathize too much at times. The cat one and the flower one look interesting but I'm not sure they will fit my play style. Might as well give them a try. I'm not interested in trying the others. Thanks for bringing these to our attention!
