alright now seems like a perfect time to say this:

this song is a large part of the reason i quit my old job. i was taken for granted, given no compensation for all the extra work i did, and so absolutely mentally exhausted that i had to take a day off about every other week just because i felt like i was losing my mind. i'd already been thinking about quitting and finding another job because i truly love what i do, and then this song drops and it hits me right in the chest that i'm just going with the flow because it's easy and if i want to better myself, i have to be brave and step out into the unknown.

so thank you guys for giving me the kick in the pants i needed to find a new job. i've moved over an hour away from my hometown where i've lived my entire life and am working a new job that is teaching me more than i ever would have learned before, and everyone back home keeps telling me how much happier i look. thank you. thank you.
