Your knee high turned out beautiful. That fabric is perfect for it. I ordered a brother sc9500 that should be here today so I'm excited to hear how much you like your brother machine. I want to make project bags and wasn't planning on doing quilting but now I've found a John Wayne quilt kit on etsy. My dad is extremely hard to buy gifts for and he's obsessed with John Wayne so I'll be ordering that next pay period. I love your jelly roll quilt and it seems fairly easy so I might have to make one of those for myself.

The samplers without the overtly religious phrases, are the ones I look for . Thanks for showing the Jennifer Gilbert design, I also love the colors in it . Enjoyed seeing all your projects, they are beautiful ! Also am a quilter and will check out that quilt as you go book .

Julie! I love the knee high finish, it's so beautiful! I have that exact same sewing machine, I've had mine for like 10 years. The quilt is so amazing also. I really need to finish mine also. We may have to chat sooner rather than later.

Love your quilts!! and kudos to you binding stitching, I'm way too lazy and machine stitch my bindings. Also, I have that brother sewing machine also! It was my first machine and I loved it. I upgraded my machine but I still kept that one because my current machine is straight stitch only and I pull out my brother machine for specialty stitches or use it when I have my sister or mom comes visit and they sew with me so it's awesome.


Also, love your Fabulous Women in History! I have that pattern and have been wanting to start.

Love the fabric of knee high piece it's gorgeous. So many beautiful motifs in the French sampler
