I like my linen items ironed. When they develop wrinkles during wear, it doesn’t bother me, though. One other good way to deal with linen is to reshape it a bit after washing, then put in the dryer, on a short cycle with a cool down, then take it out before the dryer stops. This gives it an overall casual rumply texture, but without sharp creases. Linen dries very fast, so it only takes half the time of cotton and shrinkage is minimal. Last summer I got a no-iron 100% linen shirt and I love it.

I'm definitely into the high contrast of black and white or monochrome and I'd love to do the sheer trend if it's not polyester. Maybe if it's like a thin cotton or sheer silk I'd give it a go.
