I've seen so many animations where the joke is "haha you thought it was going to be violent but it was actually le heckin' wholesome" that seeing Doomguy actually do Doomguy things to a youkai is weirdly refreshing.

Well, it's not as bad as people who don't know think. She yokai of Darkness, so even if she somehow died from this, she'll respawn in closest darkness(like in closed toilet cabin without lights). Also she has hight regeneration, as any other yokai. For her this same as scratching arm.

Also about eating humans. Yes. She do it, but in Gensyoko village of humans were createn for 2 reasons:
1)bring faith to Shrines(Hakkurei and Moria)
2)only to be food for yokais like Rumia. And Keine(half-beast, half-human yokai) defending this village so yokais don't eat all stocks at once.
