Bears have $80 million in cap space and plenty of draft picks. It's a prime destination like it always is. Ownership continually shops in the HC clearance section.

The problem with any new coach is they’re stuck with the McCaskey family. As long as they own the team they will never consistently be good. They’ll catch lightning in a bottle once every 25 years and that’s it. True bears fans know

hes literally not playing usc football, hes trying to stay in the pocket as much as possible

The bears would have avoid all this drama if they would have fired iberbust lol😅 and gone after Jim Harbaugh and avoiding all this mess but Bears are being the bears

Dan isn’t watching any Bears games. His diagnosis of Caleb’s problems is inaccurate for anyone watching him play this year.

If you win a championship in Chicago, you’ll never have to buy a beer/steak dinner for the rest of your life. Just ask the 85 bears.

Okay, but that expectation crap started with the media, not the Bears. Throwing out that "generational talent" bs wasn't the Bears, it was the sports media. Let's not forget that, Mr. Patrick.

Two weeks later…… Caleb has shown that he’s good. Really good. Eberflus is gone. The table is set for a good offensive minded Head Coach to come in and make the playoffs next year.

Bears would be a great gig. They have a good roster, great D, and lots of young guys to build up.

Anyone who has watched the Bears this season knows it's literally the opposite of what Dan is saying here.. He is trying to go through all his progressions too much every play instead of letting it rip to a first or second read (who aren't doing their job admittedly) or taking off.

Im poor and work for a living so with a coaches salary it would be a dream come true.

The offensive line is a glaring example of the coaching and GM problem with the Bears. They sign Franchise QB and top WR then do not put a priority on the Offensive line. The Bears coaches have never been able to draft or form a good offensive line. Until they do their shiny new toys will get injured and traded.

You need to watch Purdy throw the ball this year. Purdy figured it out his first year.

The chiefs have one of the best offensive lines in football.

Clean house in Chicago. Fire Poles the GM and obviously Eberflus the head coach. Go out and offer the keys to Bill Belichick to be the GM & HC and hire Mike Vrabel to be the assistant HC and defensive coordinator.

If I’m going all in on Caleb, then I’m not going out looking for the next Matt Nagy hotshot offensive play caller. I’m going to go out and pay whatever it takes to get the absolute best head coach available. Nobody can convince me that the TOP head coach available isn’t Bill Belichick. He’s a future Hall of Famer on par with Andy Reid. Belichick thrived with Tom Brady. Caleb Williams wants to be the next Tom Brady, so give Caleb Brady’s old head coach. Let Belichick & Vrabel change the culture of the Bears and bring in the old “Patriot Way” team culture.

What moves did they do that would cause them to think that the offensive line was Short up in any capacity?

3:46 I know you can’t watch every minute of every game, but what a terrible take. He consistently goes to his progressions and you can see it clearly even on the TV copy.

The Bears job will be a great opportunity for a great young offensive minded coach. They can strengthen the o-line through the draft and continue to develop Williams with new coaches. The defense is solid and they have good skill players.

The Bears need to let the fans choose their next HC

Olave on his 5th head injury of his short career, Alvin getting older, and the Saints cap isnt great. ALSO, next years draft isnt full of great QBs. Jets is just a collection off names & young egos. The Bears have issues as well, but i think their main issue is a culture issue (mainly on offense). Part of me feels that both Caleb and DJ Moore are divas that are clashing, but thats a easy fix, imho. Because both are tradable
