Morocco was far better than Portugal both at the 2022 and the 2018 World Cups
Portugal had defeated Morocco in 2018 only because of Ronaldo's world-class header but even on that day Morocco was the better team. At the 2018 World Cup match, Morocco created a lot of difficulties for Portugal.
In case of the 2022 World Cup match, Morocco was again far better than Portugal. I won't blame Fernando Santos for not starting Ronaldo because since 2020 Ronaldo is no more at his peak level, he has lost his sprint, dribbles, shooting power. Even if Ronaldo had started from the beginning, he couldn't have made any difference because he was too slow to cope with the speedy Morocco defence.
Morocco deserved to reach the Semi-finals
