I ordered a UCanaan doll the other day (same price point, $109)! While I love how cute Smart Dolls are, that price point ($480) is just too much for me at the moment! Maybe one day! I love this comparison video!

Ucanaan dolls are lovely, I see lots of beautiful pictures of them on instagram. And some faceups here in youtube. It's a lovely form, if you are into customizing your dolls, there's potential 🌈

Never had a doll while growing up but I always made stuff for one. I'm a 53yr young single parent of 2 new College Grads and came across this video in April. I was happy about the Smart Doll but sad of the price tag. My 25yr old daughter said I will buy you the Amazon version. So thanks for the Inspiration.

I just received my Ucanaan doll today! She’s my first BJD, and she’s beautiful. Her face is even prettier in person, her hair is just lovely, and her clothes are fantastic. I chose Weiya (blonde dressed all in pink) because I loved her look. I will definitely get more of these dolls! Danny Choo said that the joints for all Smart Dolls will always be a different color than the body, because they’re made of a different material, so it would be impossible for him to get an exact match. I’m guessing this is the case for a lot of companies as well, including the Ucanaan company. (:

Amazon is great for accessoiries, but not for dolls. about 95% of dolls on there are recasts (= unlicensed copies), including Eva BJD. So please be very careful what you buy there. ><

Ucannan wins for me for being pocket friendly and sturdier for rough play and also because you don't have to buy clothes and accessories separately

The Smart doll definitely looks better. The UCanaan dolls are entry-level price friendly. That 400 dollar price point just scares me out of ever considering that market.

yas i've been waiting for u to get into BJDs <3 however this doll's quality isn't as good imo, but then again it's only about $100. Most good quality bjd can cost up to $600 which can get really expensive because they're high quality resin doll.

Well, the Amazon doll is more pocket friendly, plus you get extra things. The smart doll by far is my favorite, I just wish they would give you more for the price. Like an outfit.
