Pretty sure cammycakes covered this in his Advanced Titan tutorial. And you can do it almost instantly if you swap, sprint and let go of sprint immediately. Make sure you’re holding the aim button for the whole duration of the tech.

Really recommend practicing this and getting it down to muscle memory. Doing this without even thinking about doing it is a great improvement to your gameplay. Mostly for PvP but helps in a lot of PvE scenarios aswell. :)

also helps back-pedaling. if someone is pushing you, put shots in with a primary to make a sprint cancel shotgun kill easier

I think it would be good to set up a multikey shortcut, like, for example, W + 1 (2, 3). You wouldn't trigger it on accident this way.
