Love this helpful video! I had an IUD for many years and it was great. I had no problems with it at all. In my opinion the IUD is the perfect "set it & forget it" type of birth control. Thanks for sharing this & busting those myths!

Love listening to your voice. It's so relaxing. It's like listening to Bob Ross, but talking about fannies.

Just got my Liletta earlier this week. Insertion was super painful, but about 6hrs afterwards I was totally back to normal and didn't even need any painkillers the next day. I love mine :)

Anyone have experience with failed Paraguard insertions? Or being told your cervix is not dilated or large enough to insert it since its a larger IUD? My provider tried to insert Paraguard twice (second time with 100 mcg misopristol) and they said I was not dilated enough and my cervix opening is too small since I've never given birth. Wondering if this is legit or if I should see another provider...?

Update: I saw a different provider who seemed to have more experience with IUD insertions for those who have never given birth vaginally. She was able to insert it no problem. So, lesson learned: always get a second opinion and do your research when it comes to your birth control options.

Well my experience with it wasn’t good. Had no fertility issues (birthed 4 kids naturally) prior to having my IUD in for 6 years. Asked my doctor upfront will this effect my chances of getting pregnant, was told no as soon as it is removed I can conceive. Been trying for 2 years.

Hi doctor, I had the copper IUD and it came out of place. I was thinking about getting the arm implant but the irregular bleeding is a big no for me. Would the hormonal IUD be a better option for me? Have you done a video on the morena?

How about the IUD penetrating through the uterus? That’s my biggest fear.

I just had my son on June and I have thyroid so my body produces way to much hormones and I got the hormonal iud I swear my life was great before I got it. I stopped breaking out after after I had my first child which was almost 5 years ago. One month after having my son I started getting super oily from my nose down my whole chin and upper mouth is breaking out really bad I feel so nasty so ugly. I wish I wouldn’t of gotten it. They hurt and it’s every time they’re gonna start coming out. I haven’t had a week or day where they don’t come out. I really can wait to get it out I feel so depressed….

Hm? ... So, the (IUD) product has been improved upon over the years. That's good to know! ... Because, like a few items in our recent past -the computer, the calculator, the solar panels, etc.- they have been given an improvement.

Do they hurt? I’ve heard people can still feel them years later and it constantly hurts.
