Exploring Ethiopia's Ancient City of Harar (During Ramadan)

Harar, Ethiopia. I was told before I leave Ethiopia I must visit the ancient city of Harar which dates back around 1000 years old! So I came and this where I fed wild hungry hyena, tried street food and hit the markets of Harar. It was even better being here during Ramadan as this is a muslim city so I got a great feel of culture.

This is very nostalgic to watch because this is my hometown! It’s making me miss home and it’s super funny hearing everyone yell “foreigner” at you and you’re just saying it back to them 😂 keep up the good content I just subscribed

I’m really enjoying these tours man🔥🔥🔥
Please go to Jijiga my hometown. It’s the capital of the Somali Region. I haven’t been there since 2013 when I left to come to the states. I would love if you went there.

Glad to see you got a local cap; I think it's a way of showing your ordinariness and readiness to just act like they do.. So I guess Ethiopia has Addis which is about five stories high in its commercial streets, and the rest of the country with cities two stores tall. Mud walls are pretty much mud walls, but these are at least brightly painted in places. Any public squares of note in Harar? Cinemas? The Muslims must be laid back, if during Ramadan kids are allowed to sell food to be eaten out on the streets. I was stopped, "Meester! No!" by police when I forgot and broke off a corner of warm bread to munch, on my way back to my hotel. in Egypt. Thanks to you and your guide for these views.
