These royal houses are only unknown if your knowledge of royal houses is limited to the British royal family. They are certainly not unknown to their own populations. 🤣
In fact, people living in countries with monarchies are also well aware of what other countries have a monarchy. Besides that, pretty much all of European royal houses are related.

You should look at Indonesia as well... There are a lot house of royal in Indonesia like House of Ngajogjakarta Hadiningrat (Jogjakarta), and also Surakarta, Cirebon, and many more, and their are still exist, have their own palace.
