Thanks for clicking on QuickTech.

In this video we show you how to take apart an Eclipse CS airbrush and put it back together.

Make sure your color cup is empty before following along! Please note we do not recommend breaking down your airbrush as soon as you take it out of the packaging. Or even every day. The truth is that a proper cleaning routine is usually all you need to maintain your airbrush.

But if you do need to replace a part or to troubleshoot your airbrush, this video will show you how disassemble and reassemble an Eclipse CS so you won’t have any guesswork.

If you have a different airbrush model than the Eclipse CS, you may still find this video helpful. But be sure to check out all of our QuickTech videos as we might have a video specific for your Iwata. If not, we are probably making one soon.

Why QuickTech? There’s no shortage of how-tos and tutorials on the internet but airbrushers are still searching for solutions to common problems. That’s why Iwata created the QuickTech Experience. We’ve created videos that get right to the point so you can fix your problem and get back to painting. No intro to skip, no banter to mute, nothing to speed through. Just the content you came for from the most trusted name in airbrush. Be sure to subscribe to our channel so you don’t miss the next QuickTech release!

***
Before disconnecting your airbrush from the air hose:
1. Make sure your compressor is off.
2. Then hold down the main lever to release any stored air.

What a great video. No extended intro. No music. No unnecessary talking. Just clear shots of the process. Well made.

I just ordered my first Eclipse airbrush! I've never used an airbrush before. I know this video will really come in handy.

I just watch the disassemble process for the GSI Creos Mr Procon Boy WA PS289 and my jaw dropped just how many pieces and tools are involved. This Eclipse CS is 100% better with fewer parts, and it looks very easy to maintain!

What is the safest way to pull your cone out, when it's stuck inside the nozzle?

Hello! I just received my first airbrush. An Iwata HP CS and when I disassembled it I saw something on the needle. The needle is on one side a bit like an arrow tip but smoother. A bit faster on one side or like a small drop of water. Is it the way is supposed to be?
